If you have any question contact us info@kpdn.tk The Second Advance weaving training is started in Kalash.Kalash 29 October 2007, last year Kalash People’s Development Network (KPDN) was arranged training for Kalash women in Kraka’ Village of Kalash valley Mumuret, after one year once again KPDN succeed to arrange the second advance weaving training for the women of Anish village in Mumuret.According to the president of KPDN Mr. Luke Rehmat “we are glad to say that the advance weaving training is very important for kalash women to enhance their life process with the modern world, they can make the same products very quickly and will be able to make their own woolen product which they were making in past and were consuming longer time to make a built (Patti) and other products, now from the same material the can make cloths too”.Especially in 2004 KPDN was designed a project for Kalash Women known as Kalash Women Welfare & Skill Development Center aim to work for the development and conservation of Kalasha traditional skills, and also aim to generate income sources for the local youth of the area.In this regard we had started a community based project Kalash women welfare & skill development center. The title of the projects is “Kalash Products”. In keeping with the new zest for development of rural areas, in close communion with line departments and international NGOs is more appropriate. Whereas in order to achieve such aims and objectives, it is desirable to have written constitution for the purpose of manner. The signatories to this constitution have approved it, KPDNSection # 2The interpretative clauseNAME1. The name of the organization shall be: Kalash People’s Development Network.2. Area of Operation: United Valleys of Kalash, (Mumurate, Rukmu and Biriu)3. ADDRESS OF THE HEAD OFFICE. District Chitral Kalash Valley Mumurate.NWFP Pakistan.4. INTERPRETATIONS:· Chairmen: For the purpose of this constitution. The following expressions wherever they appear shall mean the meaning, which have been assigned to them in this article.· Council: Means the representative general governing body of the KPDN elected in an annual general meeting simple majority.· EXCUTIVE COMMITTEE: Means the management bodies of the council comprising of the electing office constitution of KPDN means the Kalash People’s Development Network.Members: Means any class of member in good standing.Management Group: Means extensions of executive council to include fulfill a specific purpose.President: Means the chairman or president of the Council of the KPDN and of the executive committee of the Council.Public relation: Means the elected PR Secretary of the Council of KPDN and of the executive committee of the Council.Secretary General: Means the elected Secretary General of the Council of KPDN and of the executive committee of the council. Treasurer: Means the elected treasurer of the council of KPDN and of the executive committee of the council. Section # 3 Aims and Objectives:Objectives of the KPDN is to advanced the living standard of the community through quality of educational facilities and making quality of projects which will help in reduction of poverty in the region, to advanced kalash products and other means of financial strengthen to work with line department and an international agencies and connect the network with community based organizations and to make linkage of KPDN with other NGOs for positive evolution in the area.The aims and objectives will be achieved by resorting to the followingPlanning for the Development of Education

To work for the development of education in united valleys of kalash, a series of dialogue with government and NGOs needs to be carried out.

Kalash tradition, religion and culture shall make apart of educational curriculum for students of the valley.

Establish schools and colleges for students with help of govt, NGOS and upgrade them by creating computer labs and science labs. We want to develop education through evolutionary steps to make the roots of education strong.

Work to create awareness for education through arranging seminars and conferences, brainstorm sessions for locals.

To work for economic stability through quality education and create capacity for income generation sources.

Planning for the Development of Health. 1.Awareness campaigns about Personal, communal hygiene through seminars and conferences.

Introduction regarding Potable Water, Use, Storage, Water/Sanitation Borne dieses, causes and precautions.

Mother/Child Care-Training to TBAS (traditional Birth Attendant).

Communal Hygiene-Safe disposal of human excreta, Garbage Disposal, Use of latrines

Schools sanitation programme.

Local BHU shall be properly staffed, and local LHVs shall propagate Health Hygiene, education to local women community

Bashali which is the most important part of kalash community must be facilitate with LHV’s and first aid shall provide for the bashali in the valleys, because during the menstruation and delivery of baby women are staying at this place for weeks and some days, and it’s a fact that males are not allowed to enter bashali therefore KPDN will work to provide skill full female to take care of their friends and kalasha family.

Planning for the Development of Kalasha Skills.

Identifying the old traditional skill force to be used as master trainers. To arrange training for Kalasha women and gents to develop hand skills by teaching them modern and traditional techniques and provide them modern equipments.

Work for the transformation of skills to young generations and arrange training for students to learn their traditional skills from old

To capture markets for kalash products to be sold for income generation to improve living standard of the locals

T o development the local traditional games of the area, to provide sports equipments.

To arrange tournaments and create sports chamber for the local youth of the area.

To introduce advance training for the people of the area to create a dynamic environment for learning skills and produce income for their self.

Planning for the Prevention of Environmental Pollution.1. To motivate the local youth to cleans their area or village where the live, and create awareness about the uses of dustbins for the garbage’s, instead throwing the garbage’s around their area.2. To motivate the youths of the area not to cuts the newly trees in the forest and try to grow more plants in their environments, and try to safe the newly tress from badly distraction. 3. To protect the wild nature and work for the conservation of wild life for coming up generations 4. To work to prevent the area from the nature disasters, to increase by more plantations in the areas and try to maintains the nature beauty of areas.Role of Social Welfare officer: -The social welfare officer has to play a vital role on the following:1. He is authorized to inspect and visit the organization and its financial record or his representatives at any times.2. All appointments of the staff shall make with constitution and approved of SWO.H) The SWO will play as a co-coordinator between the government and the organization.I) All kinds of grants application and other project proposal should be send through SWO.J) He shall be authorized to attend all the meetings of the organization. To convey the date and agenda of the meetings to SWO is compulsory.No confidence motions: Against any one of the total office bearer the resolution of no confidence move can be with 2/3^rd majority the General body meeting. No any motion of no confidence can be moved before three months period after election.Resolution: In case if it deemed a necessary to dissolve the organization all its property shall vest in any other organization notified by competent registration authority under section 11 and 12 of the voluntary SW agencies registration and controlled ordinance.
